This year has been all about home projects and next up on our list is our dining room in Newport. While we have lived in the city for the past 10 years, we haven’t had much of a dining space so I was excited to start looking for pieces that would pull a full dining area together. With any room, I always start looking on Pinterest for inspiration but with a general theme in mind. For this space, I searched on ‘modern coastal’ and ‘Scandinavian dining room.’ The image above caught my eye because it mixes modern, simple pieces with coastal elements.
